Cockatoo Island was such a beautiful and versatile place to shoot. Corroded buildings, large open spaces, gorgeous waterfront, and even caves! Being an island it was a bit of a hassle to get to, but it's worth it when you're running low on ideas for places to shoot.

All I knew about the look of the place beforehand, was that the interior was primarily grungy and rustic looking, so I chose to do a cool palette for my outfit. I wanted most of it to be dark but also contrast it with soft chiffon layers.
Love pairing up black wedges with black leggings, if only they had been sky-high and I could've done some tottering-over-the-edge, daddy long-legged look that would've earned a pat on the back from Miss Gaga.
Looved the look of the gates against the water- my favourite part!
