This skirt with the photo-realistic print of a deserted highway under a bright blue sky is easily one of my most exciting and squeal-inducing finds online! It actually took me forever to receive it in the mail and then wear it out. I first ordered it from Coii.us in the wrong size, went to the trouble of selling it, ordering it again in the smaller size, and then a series of unfortunate and inconvenient set of circumstances ensued, preventing me from wearing it out. I'm just elated I finally got my grubby little hands on the skirt that prompted such childish squeals from behind the computer screen in the first place.
To do proper justice to the skirt, I wanted to pair it with a very basic, plain-coloured singlet up above. I chose white as some sort of continuation from the top of the skirt, and if I couldn't find something in the exact shade of blue as the sky, having the top half of my outfit disappear into a white, cloudy fog would do. I also thought it appropriate to top it off with soft, chiffon flutter sleeves, vaguely resembling wings in the midst of the clouds.
Top: Bardot
Skirt: Coii.us
Necklace: House of Harlow
Cuff: Colette Accessories
Heels: Chinatown
I really liked this photo but unfortunately I didn't realise at the time my skirt had become all crinkled!
Sorry guys for my belated post! I've been keeping myself busy with a bout of sickness (still recovering) and summer school, which packs a whole semester's course in a few weeks and greatly intensifies the daily reading load. (However I'm a pretty impatient person so I'm actually relishing the idea of finishing so much work in such a short amount of time 8D) I've just done another photoshoot today and a few little shopping hauls and online orders, so definitely expect a more active presence from myself soon :) I'll also be checking out everyone's blogs and comments shortly as well!
Thankyou so much Jessica and Rachel for nominating me for the Liebster Blog Award too! I'll be doing a proper post for that soon too, I promise :)

That skirt is soooo cool! I love the print of it and it looks marvelous on you! It pays off to go through all the trouble to get a piece of clothing you really love and then having it look great on. I absolutely love your photos. You always have such sunlight. <3

I love how you kept everything very simple and let the absolutely incredible and unique skirt stand on its own. Is it just white on the back or it continues the pattern?
ReplyDeleteBut, seriously, you're one of the few blogs that when I see one of your posts on my dash, I get really excited! Keep up the great work. (:
