Whenever people ask me to describe my style, I usually say I'll pretty much try out every and any look except for the sporty, athletic thing. It must be due to my utter hopelessness at and lack of passion for all sports since the day I was born, that I just have a natural aversion to dressing in any sort of athletic garb reminiscent of those dreadful P.E. days where I would often pretend to be sick on and received my very first B in "attitude" on my report card. Totally worth it though.
However I can't deny that sneakers are so ridiculously comfortable to walk around in. The bouncy soles make me feel like I'm ready to do all kinds of hikes around the city (which I unexpectedly sort of did, looking for good places to shoot in). Sneakers just somehow give you that extra injection of energy and pumped-up high, merely by being comfy.
I'm still not the biggest fan of the sporty look. My sheer nonchalance for and ignorance of sporting remain just as strong as ever. However you can keep me satiated with gold, metallic embellishments (like the stripes on these Adidas shoes, which was what drew me to purchase my first pair of casual sneakers in the first place), paired up with the right amount of girliness, like with this pleated, flared black skirt.
