What I've paid for:
Forever New fan clutch $40 -> $21(?)
I don't really need any more clutches, but I had my eye on this one for such a long time I thought I might as well just get it for the sake of it being on sale. It is such a cute design!
Cotton On gradient faux fur gilet $50 (full-priced)
I've also been on the hunt for a lovely warm gilet. This one from Cotton On was perfect as it was such a cheapie plus it combines with another trend I'm loving at the moment- dip-dye.
more after the link below:
Miss Selfridge skinny jeans in mint green, pastel purple 72 GBP ~ $119 AUD
These jeans are of a veeery thin material. They're borderline sheer! I chose them because they were relatively inexpensive (around 60AUD for each pair) compared to the other pastel-coloured jeans I've been scouring the internet for. However in some respects the quality justifies the price, and I'm not sure if it was wise of me to purchase two pairs lol. They fit me well (I ordered UK size 8, which is also an Aus size 8) although for some reason the purple is a little tighter, but because they are so thin and skintight, they cling onto and accentuate all your bottom bits. I don't think I'd recommend them to anyone with somewhat of a saggy arse, because these thin jeans will really bring that out lol. If I'm not too lazy, personally I think I'm going to do a few more squats before I start wearing these!
Watch out for this cute little thang in an upcoming outfit post. So perfect for winter! Although in a sense a little inappropriate as I'm someone whose face doesn't go red when I'm hot, embarrassed or drinking alcohol. Instead, my ears go really red during those situations (well except alcohol as that does nothing to me) so I think a lot of the time my ears actually need cooling down, not extra warmth lol.
Sportsgirl heels with gold heel $100->$30
Not really a fan of the button clasp, but they were a bargain and I was quite smitten with the golden heel...plus I don't own a pair of blue heels! The horror!
Other lovely items I received:
Gmarket silver brogues
I'm not sure if this counts as a freebie, as I received a store credit on Gmarket for a seller sending me the completely wrong item one time. I didn't have to return it and I was able to order these brogues months later...so I got two pairs of shoes for the price of one, but the one I got by accident is not even wearable as it's not my size haha.
I'm just so glad these fit me! From experience it's been sooo risky ordering shoes off Gmarket as different sellers have always had different sizing. I ordered size 235 (which is the length of my foot in millimetres) so I was really hoping this seller's sizing would be accurate, and thankfully these fit perfectly. My only complaint is that the glitter comes off quite easily.
Lovisa necklace
I won this from a giveaway the lovely Kim from Accidental Encounters hosted recently! It's such a gorgeous chunky statement necklace.
cape- courtesy of Wish
you guys have already seen this cape before, as it was featured in my previous outfit post here. Still loving this cape to death and I'm going to wear it everywhere during winter! :D
Minkpink sequin skirt, green skirt- courtesy of MarketHQ
I've already done two outfit posts with these skirts and I am soo excited to get the photos up. Both skirts were just gorgeous and fit me perfectly.
Sorry for a rather long hiatus from posting (well 10 days is enough to make me feel very guilty) and blog-replying, but my boyfriend (the photographer) and I have been pretty busy lately. For me, you can blame final exam preparation, grad applications, and settling into my new apartment. I moved in earlier in the week but I come home for the weekend. I have to say, I'm absolutely loving it so far! My flatmates are great, the place is beautiful and spacious, the view is gorgeous, and the transport arrangements are a dream. It feels so strange being able to sleep in and bum around at home for so long before class starts! There's also heaps of amazing food close by, and I'm planning to try out every single restaurant. I am particularly worried though about the Turkish place five minutes away though, as I'm a huuuge Turkish food glutton and I can totally envision myself eating nothing but gozleme, pide and kebabs all day, every day.
First night, settling in!
