Does anyone recall the first time they held a snake? Initially I was a little bit shaken but upon the first touch, I quickly discovered it was so different to what I had expected. It was warm, exceptionally soft and smooth, and had a heavy mass about it that was strangely soothing, when it coiled around your shoulders and arms. Besides the tactile aspects, I've always loved the beautiful pattern formed by intricate grooves and scales on its skin, twisting and turning with every movement in a mesmerising, almost hypnotic way.
I love how this bodycon dress wraps around my body, and the way the snakeskin print bends and changes with the slightest turn, just like it would on the real thing. I popped a blazer on top to tone down the bold and eye-catching print, and added some matching blue and gold accessories :)

I tried to match my nails with a midnight blue shade, and gold glittery tips! The glitter tips aren't very obvious in the photos though.

ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I helf a snake! Haha, it was during a school excursion to Taronga and it wasn't as slippery as I thought it would be. It was definately smooth, and very calm, I had this sinking idea that it would snap back and sink its fangs into me for a while haha. I think a snake is pretty hypnotic, but even though its organic in its movements.. there's something unnatural about the way it sliters? Get me? Okey I make no sense haha. Rocking red lips (bonus points) This bodycon dress is so flattering on you! The print does work itself as a second skin, aye? The pop of colour from the blazer is perfect, I'm actually surprised Supre had a lovely marine-coloured blazer. Gorgeous as always :)

That's what I miss about going into cold weather: dark nails! I love that color, and it matches perfectly with your look. The first time I touched a snake was when I was in year 5 on a school excursion. I was asked to look after the snake because I was sitting closest to the little tree that the snake was on. I totally freaked out, I was terrified and it was rather embarrassing. That was my first and only encounter.

This is probably the best animal print pattern outfit I've seen yet. I usually find a lot of animal prints/snake prints to be borderline tacky looking, but you pulled it off so well and you make it look so sophisticated! The blazer made everything pull together in a professional sense, too :) Just gorgeous!
