I am seriously such a blouse person. They are the quintessential, no-fuss top that you can always rely on when you're about to dash out the door. The sheer material is always comfy on your skin, you can wear a singlet inside if it's a little chilly, you can roll the sleeves up if it gets hot and they are just so versatile with any kind of outfit! I'm about to start a full-time job next year and it's pretty relieving knowing I can just transfer most of my blouse collection into my work wardrobe!
Uni has just finished and thanks to everyone who has granted me luck on exams and congratulated me on reaching the end of my law degree! Like I just mentioned, I'm going to be incorporating a lot of blouses into my work wear so I'll probably do a big Gmarket spree sometime and blog about it. The wine red blouse I'm wearing here is from Gmarket as well, and I find that it's my absolute one-stop-shop for reasonably priced, chic and good quality blouses. Can't wait to make my order!
I'm also doing 2 giveaways soon in the spirit of Christmas! I'm so excited to spread the love to all my lovely readers! :)

i like your outfit and those photos are stunning!!

For whatever reason, I don't often come across people who are huge fans of blouses - but personally I love them! I've recently started expanding my blouse collection simply because they're such a lovely, feminine piece. They're simple, elegant and modest too.
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit, dear! You look stunning as always x

I'm so in love with this colour palette Izzy, you look incredible (as always!) The leopard print isn't garish at all and I like how its introverted black and white, and is forgiving but with your figure, its there to flaunt! I also love how you played off the gold tones in your jewellery throughout your belt (cutest ever!) and heels. And a neutral red blouse is perfect :) I too think they're very versatile and.. hmm what's the word, they're the perfect choice when you're about to dash somewhere and still rushing to look polished. Wow, good luck on your full-time job!! That's gonna be so exciting, and kudos for transferring your exisiting wardrobe into work attire! Biggest congrats for finishing uni Izzy, I can't imagine how hard you've worked all these years and managed to produce such gorgeous posts all the time! Looking forward to the giveaways, congrats again Iz!

I'm so excited that you're also a blouse lover! I agree with everything you said. It's just so comfortable, yet so elegant. It makes any outfit a little more sophisticated without the extra hassle :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the cut of this blouse you're wearing. There's no collar, and I think the buttons are on the inside? They look hidden. The details in some of these better quality blouses are amazing and so much fun to wear!

first of all, thank you so much for reading my "out of shape" post and sending such a sweet comment. I appreciate it lots. I guess I didn't think about it that way in that it's a sum of small efforts. Thank you for that. Maybe that'll help motivate me to do a little at a time.

ReplyDeleteOh, being able to transfer these blouses to the corporate world is super handy. I don't own that many blouses because I find it makes me look a little bigger than I really am because of the flowy, chiffon material. I do have a few I love and wear anyway, but I wished I looked as good in them as you do :)
ReplyDeleteJust amazing;) You look great;)
