Boho Dusk

crochet top:
Shorts: Factorie
Cuffs: ASOS
Necklace: Forever 21

Yes it's that same crochet cropped top from again, but in the white which I also ordered :) With the black version (the blog post is here) I could do a dark, sexier look but the white has such a clean, innocent and fresh vibe to it :) In the last outfit I wore it with hipster shorts which exposed a lot more skin, so I opted for high-waisted shorts this time which does the trick of keeping the outfit a bit more demure. I also did silver accessories all over, just because the star studs on my shorts were silver so I might as well!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Easter break! May your days be abundant with Easter eggs and bunnies smothered and filled with the most caramelicious and rich chocolate. I have to go the dentist tomorrow and Easter hasn't even started lol.

Missguided Love

Once again I can't help but rave on about the new UK label that's starting to get super popular in Australia at the moment! The items are always so trendy and on point, and yet are so forgiving on your wallet. The very generous crew at Missguided recently sent me some lovely gifts, and I thought I'd blog about some of the stuff I received. All opinions are my own :)

Galaxy cut out tunic (link here)

Here is my favourite item out of everything!! It fits and feels like a really comfy, baggy t-shirt dress, but the knotted cutouts on the side make it a little more sexy and airy, and of course the gorgeous vibrant galaxy design makes it look extra special! Only the front of the dress is exposed, and the back is fully covered by material and doesn't have those cutouts. This is something I'd just throw on for a casual outing on a hot, humid day when I'd want something light and easy. It's an absolute steal at $19.54AUD.

red studded high-low dress (studded detail is on the shoulder pads!)

This was not really my style to be honest, but it was still really fun to wear! The bold red colour, figure-hugging design and ankle-skimming back length makes it seem like something JLO or one of the Kardashian girls would wear. Again, not something I would've picked out, but it's great trying out new things :)

And here are the other two items which I didn't wear- a lovely sequinned playsuit and high-waisted disco pants in teal! I didn't get a chance to wear these yet, but you might see their appearance on my blog again soon :)

MissGuided offer standard shipping on all orders to Australia and New Zealand at MissGuided AU. There's however Missguided UK, Europe, and US as well! I think the free shipping is more than generous considering how affordable their prices already are ;)

watercolour wonderland

"Jars of heart" playsuit: c/o RosyRuby (link here)
Belt: ASOS
Watch: River Island
Clutch: Forever New
Bird ring: ASOS
Bracelets: taobao, Sportsgirl

How cute is this colourful and playful little piece from Rosy Ruby? It was love at first sight when I saw all the splatters of vibrant, pretty colours resembling a floral pattern. The playsuit itself is super light and comfy so it's perfect for the remaining days of summer for those down under (as well as those of you heading into spring!) I needed to accessorise it with the prettiest of pretty metals (rose gold!) as well as touches of lovely pastels like the yellow belt and bubblegum pink shoes. Oh and the mint nail polish I've had stuck on my nails for ages is Etude House's Mint Chocochip. It has large glitter pieces (which is also why I cannot get this nail polish off me lol) and the packaging resembles an upside-down icecream cute, super cute!

As I already mentioned on Instagram, thanks heaps to all my wonderfully loyal (and the new!) readers and followers for being patient with me! I seem to be a magnet for all technology-related issues and have been dealing with no working wi-fi for ages, as well as yet another faulty computer (my bf has kindly lent me his old one!) And special thanks to my dedicated commenters for my posts, it means a lot that you guys check out my updates regularly and find the time to provide some kind words! :)

thanks to those responses to my last post, I'm sorry to hear that so many of you are also super bored and unproductive at work, yet also relieved we're all in the same boat :) earning money is always worth it though haha!

Crochet and Daisies

Blouse with crochet pockets: SaboSkirt
"Daisy eyelet" Skirt: c/o Sugarlips (link here)
Studded bucket Bag: Sportsgirl (new!)
Belt: Forever21

Starfish cuff: ebay
Simple rings: ASOS
Cream ring: Disney Couture
"Love" bracelet: Sportsgirl (new!)

The whimsicality of the dainty daisy punchouts in my Sugarlips skirt found a perfect friend in the crochet pocket detail of this SaboSkirt blouse! Together they remind me of tea parties and lazy Sundays sipping vanilla mocha, and the monochrome tones make the whole outfit fuss-free and simple. This gorgeous new studded bucket bag from Sportsgirl was an explosion of metallics (which I can never resist adding), complemented by the thin belt from Forever21 and various accessories.

Army Sleek

(not the greatest quality in this picture, but I do like my detail shots! :))

Khaki blouse: c/o Sheinside (link here)
Gold necklace: c/o Sheinside (link here)
Disco pants: c/o Missguided (link here) not joking...only 10 pounds!
Shoes: taobao
Clutch: c/o Choies

hey guys, this is a pretty short blog post this time! The short and snappy photoshoot can only be explained by this torrential and dreary Sydney weather that always seems to be worst on the weekends! A narrow timeslot to take photos in between the rainy periods has become a rare commodity, and as for this shoot the sun disappeared very quickly afterwards so the later lot of photos were very grainy and dark. Ultra bummed because the bf and I want to take a nice, sunny and bright photoshoot for once and I have up my sleeve a bunch of summery outfits suited for exactly that!

Anyway, apart from the weather I'm loving the brand new pieces I'm wearing in this outfit! I've been wearing these MissGuided high waisted leggings everywhere because they are so comfy, and feel so smooth to touch! The great thing about them being high waisted is that you can wear it with a crop top or with a long shirt over it like normal leggings, making them so versatile. In the last blog post I wore another fabulous piece  by MissGuided (the fringed leather jacket), and I can honestly say that I love all their stuff so much.

The khaki two-tone blouse is also another great piece from Sheinside! I love how khaki tends to add a little, military-esque edge to anything and the contrasting black part blends in with the leggings. (oh and I accidentally pulled off one of the pocket buttons during a careless ironing session!) Loving the new gold statement necklace too, can't get enough of my metallics! :) hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far!
