The whimsicality of the dainty daisy punchouts in my Sugarlips skirt found a perfect friend in the crochet pocket detail of this SaboSkirt blouse! Together they remind me of tea parties and lazy Sundays sipping vanilla mocha, and the monochrome tones make the whole outfit fuss-free and simple. This gorgeous new studded bucket bag from Sportsgirl was an explosion of metallics (which I can never resist adding), complemented by the thin belt from Forever21 and various accessories.
I think I've been going slightly crazy at work lately. I keep going out to buy more food and I'm just casually obviously Instagramming at my desk with my supervisors right next to me. I just wish I was given more work to do or at least more time-consuming tasks, as weird as that may sound! I thoroughly enjoy being kept busy and being rightfully paid to be productive. I always have the fear of my brain (and butt) slowly turning into figurative slush, and I get so excited about doing the daily crossword on the way home lol just because I so desperately need to oil the cogs in the brain. Have you guys ever felt like you're gradually morphing into an unproductive sloth, at work or at school, or in any environment? I sure hope I'm not the only one!
I definitely felt like that at my old job! But now I'm studying law & media I'm so stimulated I feel a bit crazy & I always want to do sudoku haha. Weird, right?

ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm constantly buying food too! Just not for work- but on my uni breaks. I have way too many breaks and it feels like I have too much time on my hands. A little more work would actually be nice haha... but just a little!

I totally understand, though I have a lot to do at school, it's not very creative and stimulating, so I'm not growing as a person. I love how whimsical this look is, the play of lace and gold is ever so flattering. I especially love how demure the blouse is, and its oversized pockets :-) I gotta get my hands on a starfish cuff, it is too beautiful to resist ;_; This does look like a sunday tea outfit, or a picnic outfit, something very dainty to eat in! I like keeping busy, or else the day just goes by very slow, and you know that there is always something to do, I hope something stimulates your brain soon, more crosswords perhaps haha? I have definetely felt sloth-like at work, especially when I'm stuck doing office/administration stuff and it feels redundant or I'm left with nothing productive. I usually try to fill my calender or read haha

oh Izzy, I used to feel that way when I was still working my shitty job. I would forever be doodling and reading here and there when it wasn't busy. Now, though, even though I think I'm mentally stimulated, I panic at not having enough time to make everything I want to make!!! :)

The only thing that worry me that way, is my butt melting when I have extremely long homeworks. but I have University (and all the life sucking that comes with it) and other five extra activities (4 sports and a foreign language) So I would die if I ever get to feel like that!
